Challenge #31 - A Theme Challenge

This fortnight's challenge is a theme challenge - to honour July being my birthday month, we challenge you to make a birthday card or project with a simple side twist of using any shade of pink (my favourite colour along with black!)

Here's Amy's cute hot air balloon card. I love all the stitching she has done.

Recipe:

Stamps: All for Friends, Baroque, Framed with Love, Sweet Birthday

Paper: Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Noueveu Chic DSP, Whisper White

Ink: Melon Mambo, Sage Shadow, Basic Grey, Stazon black

Accessories: black brads, black marker, blender pen

Up next is a cute gatefold with a twist card from Elaine. I love the interlocking squares! The first photo shows the card closed.

This next photo shows the interlocking squares much better.

And this is the pretty inside too.

Recipe:

Stamps: Out of the Box (Level 1 Hostess set), Queue Up (Level 3 Hostess set), Happy Moments, Best Wishes & More, Hello Again

Papers: Ballet Blue, Whisper White, Pixie Pink, Petal Party Simply Scrappin' Kit

Ink: Pixie Pink, Black Stazon, markers: Yoyo Yellow, Pixie Pink, Watercolour crayons: Pretty in Pink, Ballet Blue, Versamark

Accessories: Latte buttons, 1 3/8" circle punch, 1 3/4" circle punch, trimmer, adhesive stickers from Simply Scrappin Petal Party, Heat & Stick powder, Dazzling Diamonds, Crystal Effects, Whisper White Taffeta ribbon, Cosmo Glitter, White Embossing Powder

And finally here's mine using the middle step card technique. This first photo shows the front view.

And this photo shows the side so you can see the steps a bit better.

Recipe:

Stamps: My Sweet Pea, Wonderful Words

Papers: Pretty in PInk, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Sweet Pea DSP

Inks: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery ink and marker

Accessories: Sweet Pea Felt pieces

Please leave us a link to your card, scrapbook page or project so we can come and visit.
